Streetlight Local Community Support Hour

Once a week, we donate a 60-minute session to help a local nonprofit get found online and look more credible where people check.

What we can help with in 60 minutes:

Website clarity + donation/volunteer “next step” improvements (guidance + light fixes)

Google Business Profile cleanup + quick wins (most common)

Why We’re Doing This

Local nonprofits do important work and a lot of them are hard to find online. A few small visibility fixes can make a real difference in:

  • people finding the right organization
  • volunteers signing up
  • donations coming through
  • event attendance and community awareness

We’re setting aside time each week to support the organizations that support our community.

Who This Is For

This is for local nonprofit organizations serving Massachusetts, especially those who:

want more visibility for services, events, volunteers, or donations

rely on local community support

have a small team and limited marketing bandwidth

What This Is NOT (Important)

To keep this program fair and sustainable:

  • We do not provide ongoing monthly management through this program
  • We do not do full website rebuilds as part of the free hour
  • We do not provide unlimited edits, content writing, or multi-week projects
  • If we can’t get access during the session, we’ll switch to “advice + next steps” so your time is still valuable

Limit: One Community Support Hour twice per year.

FAQ

Do we need a Google Business Profile?
Not always but if you serve the public locally, it can help people find you, trust you, and contact you.

Will you ask us to buy services?
No. This program is separate. If you ever want deeper help later, you can ask but this hour is not a sales call.

Can we do more than one hour?
We keep it to one hour per organization per quarter (or twice per year) so we can help more organizations.

What should we prepare?
Bring any logins you have for Google and your website, plus 5–10 photos (even phone photos) if you want us to add/update them.
